Developing and maintaining services for survivors and their families is an ongoing challenge which we meet in a variety of ways.
Our monthly meetings feature prominent medical specialists and are always well attended.
Because of demand Prostaid is offering a monthly meetings focusing on peer support for both men and women. These meetings will be held at South Calgary Health Centre, 31 Sunpark Plaza SE. See the sidebar for times and speakers.
Our monthly newsletter, the Digital Examiner, is currently mailed to over 800 subscribers. If you would like to be put on the mailing list for this free service just email your address to bobshiell@shaw.ca
Significant donations have allowed Prostaid to expand their awareness activities. We are currently sponsoring a major media campaign on radio, television and outdoor. Our vision is to expand this campaign to all of Alberta. This campaign, using the theme “Staying Alive” encourages men to get a benchmark test at age 40. Click here to see the ads.
